Management Challenge

Senior managers from a local government office met to discuss operational difficulties.

Our facilitator met them prior to the meeting to assess what they thought were their problem areas. During the two-day meeting various tasks were set which enabled the facilitator to address those issues and to develop possible solutions

By the end it was felt that newly developed personal relationships would enable them to operate more efficiently both as individuals and as a more cohesive and effective team.

Team Building

24 sales management staff on three yachts all with a similar challenge to be met.

Load, prepare and serve - some said survive - their own catering, while still achieving their boat based objectives. The group sailed to the Isle of Wight and moored up in Cowes Marina for the night. They successfully completed their mission the next day by ‘racing’ back to Southampton. Highly skilled skippers acted as facilitators for this event.

Team Bonding

A carpet company invited sales staff, specifiers and fitters to a day in the country.  The were mixed in teams and after a welcome they tackled clay pigeon shooting, rally driving, 4x4 driving and a quad bike safari.

After a superb lunch the teams competed for prizes. Everyone agreed it had been a great day with many new personal and business friends as a result.

Team Development

Two departments, which had not worked together before, joined this two-day event. On day one, with a facilitator present, they were set personal as well as team challenges on an activity site. On day two they met in the classroom to discuss the lessons learned from their experiences on day one. The facilitator was able to guide them on how to apply their experiences and how to use their new found knowledge in their work environment.
